This past weekend, A Posh Production had one of their largest Chicago events yet this season…and it wasn’t even a wedding! A Posh Production was the lighting, sound, and DJ specialist for Lockport High School’s prom at Union Station in downtown Chicago.
The room was packed with over eight hundred in attendance. DJ Matt W kept the students and other attendees moving all night with top 40 hits. Chicago DJ Matt W switched up the DJ spotlight with DJ Mathew, who actually was a music teacher at Lockport High School. Song requests were coming in all night and the students couldn’t get enough of these two excellent Chicago DJs.
The night began with simple yet elegant dinner music but the dance floor was soon transformed into a lively Chicago nightclub with the assistance of A Posh Production lighting technicians. Six uplights, two wash lights, and intelligent lighting were used to create a fun and exciting environment for the students to enjoy themselves. By the end of the night, students were jumping on the stage and there were plenty of “dance-offs”.
